I am a New Zealand trained Gastroenterologist. Having spent my early childhood in Malaysia, I am multilingual and can speak fluent Mandarin, and understand Cantonese, Teochew, Hokkien and Malay.

  • Endoscopy- diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy
  • Bowel cancer screening
  • Functional bowel disease, dyspepsia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) inflammatory bowel disease
  • Coeliac disease
  • Liver disease: All liver disease, with particular subspecialist and research interest in Hepatitis B and fatty liver
  • Fibroscan

  • Degrees: BHB, MBChB (Auckland), FRACP, MD (University of Auckland)

  • Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician at Middlemore Hospital, 2013 to present
