Raksha Kalpee

I was born in Durban, South Africa. Completed MBChB at the University of Natal. I completed my Masters in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Pretoria (where I was a senior lecturer). I have been a Rheumatologist since 2015. We moved as a family to New Zealand in 2020 and I am currently working as a Rheumatologist at Waikato Hospital after completing my FRACP. I am passionate about teaching and I currently hold an honorary senior lecturer post with the University of Auckland. I am also passionate about Rheumatology. I have presented at multiple conferences, including the EULAR postgraduate course and International Dermatology congress. I have a keen interest in SLE and auto immune conditions, however I am interested in all Rheumatological conditions.
