I am a gastroenterologist specialising in inflammatory bowel disease.

I went to medical school in Tamaki Makaurau at the University of Auckland. I then specialised through gastroenterology training in Auckland and Christchurch. 

Subsequently, I completed a fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease in 2023 at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide, Australia. I further specialised within that fellowship in intestinal ultrasound.

I became accredited in endoscopy in 2022 and accredited in intestinal ultrasound in 2024.

I have a passion for health, particularly inflammatory bowel disease and health equity. My whanau are from Tai Tokerau.
