Indika Ranasinghe
Kia Ora, after being born in Sri Lanka, I lived my early years in the UK and Australia where I completed most of my formative education before moving to the United States for most of my secondary education including my undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) and medical school education (M.D.). I moved to New Zealand in 2013 and eventually settled down in Waikato where I completed my Basic Training and subsequently my Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine (FRACP) and Endocrinology (FRACP) at Waikato Hospital.
I am currently working as a dual trained Internal Medicine and Diabetes Specialist at Waikato Hospital. I have an interest in general endocrinology and metabolic disease. I have seen medical care overseas and am a strong advocate for customised patient centric care.
