Dr Katy is a gynaecologist & laparoscopic surgeon who has interests in holistic management of pelvic pain, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding & ovarian cysts.

She holds a public position at Tauranga & Whakatāne hospitals where she is the medical lead for Obstetrics & Gynaecology across both sites.

• Hysteroscopy including Transcervical Resection of Polyps & Fibroids
• General Gynaecological Surgery, Vaginal Surgery including Pelvic Floor Repairs & Vaginal Hysterectomies, & Abdominal Gynaecology Surgeries
• Holistic Management of Pelvic Pain
• Management of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding including Novasure Endometrial Ablation & Mirena Insertion

Qualifications/Memberships

• MBCHB, MHlthLd, PGDipOMG, PGCertClinEd, FRANZCOG
• Dr Katy completed her medical degree in New Zealand & her specialist training in Middlemore, Auckland, North Shore, Waikato, Taranaki & Tauranga hospitals.
• She completed a fellowship at Mater Mothers hospital in Brisbane & then returned to New Zealand in 2020.
