I am a New Zealand trained Gastroenterologist who grew up in the Bay of Plenty. I attended Medical School at The University of Auckland before completing my Advanced Training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine. I subsequently completed an overseas Fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Therapeutic Endoscopy where I was also awarded a Master of Research Degree for my research investigating the emerging challenges in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I have a strong emphasis on comprehensive patient focused care and I also currently practice at Middlemore Hospital as a consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and General Physician.
