I am a New Zealand trained Gastroenterologist who was born in Taiwan and grew up in Auckland. I can also speak both Mandarin and Taiwanese fluently.

I attended Otago Medical School graduating in 2006 and completed my specialist training in Gastroenterology in 2015.  I did one year of fellowship in intestinal failure and transplant at Cambridge University Hospital before returning to Middlemore Hospital as a consultant Gastroenterologist.

  • Endoscopy – diagnostic and therapeutic, capsule endoscopy
  • Correctal cancer
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Coeliac disease
  • Dyspepsia and reflux disease
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Nutrition and intestinal failure
  • Liver disease

 

Qualifications:

  • MBChB (Otago), FRACP

  • Consultant Gastroenterologist, Middlemore Hospital
